Re-Critic has a logo!

This whole idea started out as a dream, a dream that didn't seem like it would likely go anywhere.  One borne by a dude who enjoyed writing but had no idea how to pursue it in a meaningful way, at a time when it seemed like all pathways were closed and yet simultaneously open in ways they had never been before.  I had never created a website, had never kept up with a blog that wasn't attached to some other endeavor or person, had never felt the freedom to write only the things I wanted to.

And now it's all real.  The fact that a professional designer took the time to hear me out about what this site could be, and then used those ideas along with her own imagination to create an emblem that fits it perfectly...it's hard to put into words, even for someone like me.  The fact that someone else has given their time and their effort for such a concrete result is another piece of proof that this whole thing can actually work, can be something, can mean something.

I am beyond happy with the new logo and I hope you dig it, too.  More importantly, I'm stoked that you're here on this journey with me.  I hope that I can give something new to think about from time to time, or at least help you think about something old in a different way.

Let's just keep this thing going forever, what do you say?
